This house was built by Thomas Morgan in the late 1600's. His grandfather, Sir William Morgan (who also lived here, but obviously not in this house), is an ancestor of Chad's. Sir William's great-grandson, Morgan Morgan, emigrated to America in the early 1700's and was one of the first settlers in what is now West Virginia.
