Llandeilo Talybont is an ancient parish church, but the population moved away (mostly to form the nearby town of Pontarddulais), leaving the church isolated and eventually disused. Rather than have it become completely destroyed by the elements and vandalism, it was moved to the Museum of Welsh Life outside Cardiff, where it is being reconstructed. A local resident has written about it's history.
