Looking up Corn St. towards the Corn Exchange and All Saints. Robert Southey was born on Wine St, just beyond All Sts. Joseph Cottle, patron of several writers, including Southey, had a bookstore around the corner on High Street, which was probably open when Evan & Rebecca Evans were raising Charles in this neighborhood.
